He used a Seymore Duncan JB in the bridge, during the recording of In utero his jaguar had both humbuckers swapped for JB's

Your right on top of it Jack, the one on the left is Sonic blue, it's from 93 and has yellowed over the years, the one in the middle is Daphne Blue and is brand new, and then of course one in OLY white.

but the brand new one looks like a 69 reissue and they only come in sonic blue as far as i know??? how can that be?

and why did your 93 yellow to an almost green (very cool by the way) color? did it have nitrocellulose finish?

And your new daphne wont yellow at all right, because of the polyurethane laquer?

sorry for all of the questions but I want a new mustang to look like your 93!!!!! and I just want to make sure I get the right one.

you can pritty much tell a 93 from a 65 because the 65 had a white pickguard and black covers and the 93 had a brown with white covers

The colors for the 69 RI's from Fender Japan are a aged white, and Daphne blue, also it's not any where close to Sonic by any comparison I've seen. And on the 93 I'm fairly certain the finish is Poly, also I'm it's 3rd owner, so I'm guessing it's lived in the houses of smokers before me. Also Poly will yellow in the right conditions, or that's what I've read, as in living in the homes of smokers and such.
But hey it's no problem if you have any more questions PM me, I will be glad to help you out. And good luck they are a fun guitar to play.
