I've got an updated version of my Fender Aerodyne,

Here's the before...

and here's the after....

I'm still not done with the changes, so far I've removed the Fender standard bridge that came with the bass, and swapped in a Leo Quan Badass II, and had a tele-style pickguard put on.

The next changes are going to be swapping in a brass nut in instead of the plastic one that's currently on there, and then replacing the tuning machines with Hipshot tuners, and placing a bass extender on the "E" string, so that I can easily drop tune her from E to D with a flick of a switch.

Thanks Fender, for making this bass I love it, she's my baby.

How about this short scale 1993/94 Fender Stratocaster. It is not a Squire Mini. It has 21 frets, Tremolo bridge, and an 18 1/2 inch scale. Lots of quality in this made in Japan instrument.

The Venus 12 string is one nice guitar. The split single coil pickups sound precisely like a single coil, but with absolutely zero hum. With the tone control and the pickup switch selector you can get a vast diversity in the tone available. It also stays in tune really well, although the string tree does hang up the tuning sometimes. The side of the neck has binding. Overall, one hell of a nice guitar, and it only cost me $400. If you catch one on ebay, snatch it up.

Hey everybody, I'm kinda new here and digging all your cool guitars.

I just received this 1968 Coronado II as a birthday gift from my wife.

(hint, it's as old as me)

I'll come back later and show you my beloved Toronado.

Quite, quite cool. That's a great present from a wife, would you care to introduce her to my wife, just to share her ideas on gift-giving, :D

Hey Obeylsk you have the same guitar I have. But mine is the red and black one.

I would put a pic up but I forgot how to do it since I haven't been on a forum is quite some time.

But for visual it looks just like yoru TC-90 but black on the outsides and red in the middle. Just thought I would give it a mention.

Those Venus 12-strings are killer. The only Squier that actually had REAL semour duncans in them. I keep trying to get one, but they are always way out of my price range. Just gotta find that person that has wrong idea of squier=crap. The Vista's were certainly a superb line of guitars. Someday I'll have a Venus 12 and Super-Sonic to call my own...

Kingman 44, it sounds like electric butter.

The neck (I swear) is like brand new, and since I play other Fenders, it's very familiar. It's also very light. It sounds great unplugged, and through my little practice amp, the DeArmonds are very chimey, just like you'd expect.

This weekend, I'll try it through my Musicman with some overdrive and aim for the Robben Ford tone.

I'd love to play this thing through an AC30, I'm pretty sure that would be sweet! Oh well, I'll make do with the MM.

As far as the technical aspects of the instrument go,I'm having a little trouble figuring out the bridge - I'm used to the fixed type - and I can see this one wandering if I play too hard. Also, the bridge tone pot is sticky. Otherwise the mofo is tip top.

But overall, this guitar was probably a one or two owner, was played very little and lovingly babied.

Thanks guys for the compliments.
