I've heard some jagstangs before, they sound really cool and all, but they're ugly as crap. What are your opinions on this legendary guitar? :?

I like bark, and it makes great kindling for my woodburner. But I voted for the Jagstang as I own one myself. it is a good guitar but certainly not for everyone.

Hey Nirvana Lives, last time I checked, Cobain hated the Jagstang, he was gonna send it back to Ffender or something, but then he kicked the bucket. So Fender just sold them to make a quick buck. They are pretty cool though. Just puttin' that out there
The Jag-stang that the mainstream market of guitar players has come to love or hate bares a shoddy resemblance in sound to what the custom shop created for Curt. I have a Jag-stang and the pickups are awful, I used to love them until I heard what different pups could do for its sound. I put a Fender American Stratocaster Pup in the neck and boy does it shine. The old neck pickup is, however, a guilty pleasure of mine because of its strange compressed and jazz style sound. I'm actually replacing both pickups in it though. I recently bought a humbucker sized p-90 A (with strat poles) for the bridge and a strat-sized blade-poled pup for the neck; both from Pete at vintage vibe guitars. I'm waiting for them to get shipped once he makes them and I'm pretty excited, maybe I'll post some pics once I've installed them. Oh, but as for the overall vote, I'm going to say that a VRI Jaguar or an original Jaguar are the best of the best in the Fender line of non-strat or tele guitars, I have the VRI and it's brilliant.

I've only owned a Mustang out of those choices, so I guess Mustang is it.

Looks like the Mustang is the most favored here. I'll have to try one out.

I just got a Jagstang, so of course that's what I voted. ;) It's the only one out of the choices that I have any experience with.
