Very rare bird, this one. Has a humbucker sandwiched between two single-coils. Cool!

A Squier JagStang sounds very cool as an idea.

I'd pick one up if they brought it back, and if they really want to cut costs they could put the squier name on it, I'd still pick one up regardless.

I'd give it a shot, and I'd probably keep it, then I'd change the pickups to something that distorts better

I think this guitar should have to be brought back being through squier or whatever. The jagstang is the guitar that i want the absolute most but can not afford the $400-700 that they go for on ebay so if it gets brought back for 150-300 if released by squier i could probably do that. It is an intermediate level guitar, but i love that guitar. Even if i was not a NIRVANA fan i would still like it.

actually they shouldnt bring it back..people will hate me for this..if they bring it back, it messes up the tradition and value of the original guitar..there are plenty of them still out here. if you hunt hard enough you can find one. in 2 months i've came across 5 of them, and I actually had one drove down to me from Kentucky..find a desperate college kid trying to pawn one and youll be good.. yeah ebay is quite high but for 375-600 you can obtain one. if they re-release it would still be the same amount and a squier version would just suck pay a little extra for the full quality. Kurt played Mustangs, and his tech installed a humbuckers in the back,. the jagstang at this point is just novelty..find you a mustang and do the mod like Kurt would've.. there is not much Jaguar in the jag-stang

The Jagstang is alright where it is-in the history books. It was a butt ugly useless bit of wood that was made to honor a rock star who hated it anyway. As for aesthetics it's right up there with the Gibson Firebird X.

i never really liked them. It always looked like some guy left a few mustangs and jaguars out in the sun and they melted
