Hi guys, Interesting story. When I first learned to play guitar I saved up and bought a second hand fender squire. It was stolen about 12 years ago. My interest was reignited when I saw my stolen guitar (convinced in my own mind its the same one) in a pawn shop yesterday. Trouble is, I have no idea what it is. It is a squire, so probably cheap. has the slim showmaster body complete with floyyd rose bridge system and has a unique headstock, vaguely resembling the head of an ibanez. Metallic red.

I will probably try to get it back regardless of how good it actually is for sentimental reasons. Whoever "aquired" the guitar has removed the cover to the truss rod and lost it. The lock nuts are gone as well, the bridge has several parts missing. To be honest, it looks very trashed.

2 questions: What is it and how hard is it to repair a trashed floyyd rose system? I am resigned to the fact I probably can only get it to look good.

*edit: I have just found the squire section. Should this be moved or is it fine where it is?
