I inherited this acoustic guitar. Anyone heard of it. What is its history and what is it worth. Should I insure this guitar?

I own a Fender Gemini II also. It was made in the mid 1980's(83-87) in Korea. It has a spruce top, nato sides and back. It is a low priced import worth now between $150-175 according to Vintage guitar price guide. I hope this helps you out.

I have a Gemini II I got at the San Diego outdoor swap meet for $90 back in 1990. It came in what appeared to be a "starter pack" with a couple of picks, a plastic tuner and a cheap guitar strap. The guy had $110 on it, but it was near the end of the day so he took my $90 offer.

Mine's a darker color than the picture above this posting. It has a decent sound for the price but the action is a bit high, so I use it mostly for slide.

As for actual value, Paisley Strat already covered that.

I bought my Gemini II in California in October 1986 for $150 including some accessories. I have read other posts in different forums that claim this guitar sounds better than some others which cost up to 10X more.
