Bought the Kurt Cobain Jag recently. Right off the bat the bridge saddles on a few strings were muting and buzzing the string.
Brought it back in and the tech mostly fixed those issues.
Now I'm realizing the guitar won't intonate, half a semi tone sharp on G 2nd fret, for 1 example.
I'm also pretty sure this guitar has jumbo frets when it's supposed to have medium jumbo, they are unbelievably enormous, which I really dislike.

Incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this guitar.

What's the deal? Anyone else have issues like this? I waited 14 weeks for the guitar to ship and I'm starting to think it was just haphazardly thrown together.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

I'll return to see the tech, IMO he don't do a good job.
Or is not a qualified guitar tech, see a qualified luthier or guitar tech.

Frets are medium jumbo ; as Fender specs write.

You did play on the guitar in the shop before you took it home, didn't you?
It sounds like the guitar needs a complete setup.

A qualified guitar tech / luthier who fix string buzz must do a complete set up.

Or in other words;

A guitar with strings buzz issue need a complete set-up.

Offset Fenders are quite idiosyncratic with regards to setup, and setup is well outlined in this article https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/ ... rs-jaguars

I know how you feel. I waited for weeks for a strat to ship and then it came in and played horrible. It's not really the guitar. It's the setup, but it did leave me feeling mad and ripped off. My luthier fixed it up and now I love the guitar.

How does your tech mostly fix the issues? It seems like a full setup would fix all of these problems. Did he do a full setup or not? I'd bring it back, play it for him to show what wrong. Then make sure you sit and play it for more than 30 seconds after he fixes it again.

If it still has a problem, you need to find yourself a new tech or luthier.
