I have a set of Strat locking tuning machines (the ones with the spaghetti F) and I'm considering getting a classic vibe Jaguar. Will my tuning machines work on the Jag? I also have a set of three Seymour Duncan SSL-1's. Will those work on the Jag? I'm aware I may have to drill some holes for the tuners and that I'll have an extra pick-up.
Thanks!

More chance they don't fit.
Never try to drill bigger hole until you are very skill in wood working.

Pickups ; I don't know

Why do you want to fit locking tuners?
If the guitar does not stay in tune you'll find that fitting locking tuners does not cure the problem.

Setting the guitar up properly should sort things out, but the trick is finding someone that understands the fundamentals of what they're dealing with.
This is a good place to start https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/ ... rs-jaguars

If you're inexperienced in the fine art of guitar fettling I suggest finding someone who is experienced and with appropriate training.
A friend who "knows a bit" is more likely to mess the job up than get it right.

I don't have the guitar yet, so I have no idea if there's any issues with it. I wan't to use locking tuners because I already have them. The whole reason I want to buy a guitar is to use the random guitar stuff i have laying around.
I know my tools pretty well, so I should be OK working on the headstock. Anything else I need to know? This sounds like a go ahead.
