I am a very busy lead and rhythm guitarist in two local bands and I have been loving my new Acoustisonic, up until I started experiencing short outs (losing sound as if it were unplugged). I have taken it to an authorized Fender repair center and the technician said he couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. He said if it happens again (and it has) bring it back in and I would need to leave it so that they could remove the circuit board and check things out underneath it.

I purchased my Acoustisonic online from Sweetwater Sound this past February so I am sure it is still under warranty. There was also an issue with the high E string popping off the nut but I resolved that with a string tree.

Has anyone else experienced these two issues with their Acoustisonic and if so, were the issue(s) resolved and how?

I had one of those and I sent it back for the same exact reason, apparently it was something to do with the fishman pickup. In my case it was like I switched my amp on/off. Re, the E string it's just a setting of the nut and action nothing major there. A good guitar tech should fix that.
