I just bought an 86 Korean Made Squier bullet bass and I want to know more about this model. It cost me 100 bucks but definitely needs a lot of work on it from the tuners to get bridge and electronics. So IDK if I made a good or bad deal by buying this or if it was better going for a non vintage Squier p bass

This topic might belong best to the Squier Bass Guitars section, but anyways…

I don't think there are any official specs or diagrams for the eighties Korean instruments, but you can always replicate the electronics - with new components, if you choose so. Or rewire after whatever other diagram you want to.
With the hardware, often just cleaning & lubing goes a long way.

Here's a link to the Owner's Manual: https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Orig ... s_1982.pdf

On the good/bad deal. If it's a playable bass without major defects, a hundred is IMHO cheap. And if you can do the maintenance/setup yourself, it can be made even better with very minimal costs.
But if you think about upgrading this and that and those parts, then it's time to do the cost/profit analysis vs trading for another bass.
