Hi, so I'm planning to get a Mustang sometime soon but is unsure which to get, I was looking for the Fender Japan Mustang MG69 but heard about the Fender Japan Mustang Traditional 70s and I'm not sure which to get, I would like to know if there is any difference between these 2. Thank you!

I waited a day to see if you got an answer from someone who's played both side to side. But since there are none, I'll throw in some opinions, although they really aren't much help - you know what you like better than anyone else...

There's nothing in the specs which for me would make a crucial difference. But if you throw in the Traditional 60's version, that has a slightly wider neck (and an alder body, but I pay no attention to that).
I have a soft spot for older Japanese Fenders and Squiers, so I'd probably choose a Mustang as old as I could find. Then again, I've played the new Japanese (Strats), and I have no reason to doubt the current MIJ quality.

So, what I'm actually saying is, get any guitar that appeals to you - the one where the color, price, setup, seller and/or whatever seems just right.
