I got one a few days ago, and it's very intuitive. The Jag Baritone doesn't have all the cool switches and knobs of the Jag or Jag Bass--I have the latter and love it. I was playing with the Jag HH and it's very easy to adjust from a guitar--and also realize you have something quite like a bass on the low end. It's beautifully finished. Barre chords are no problem. It's clean sound is great (I've amped it up to a bass amp and a smaller Fender guitar amp with overdrive). In the overdrive mode, this baby wails---talk about feeling like a Rock Star! It's quite astonishing.

The high B string popped out of the nut once when I was vigorously bending. I don't miss the whammy bar, but I do like the switches on Jags--missing here.

This bad boy will go from ballads to very heavy metal, and tick tack country. Good stuff. Japanese Fender stuff is great.

Same with the cheap Indonesian Squiers--great, great instruments. Indonesians have had a love affair with the guitar, so it makes sense they could make a good one.

Check one out.
