I was just curious if it is likely that we will see new colors for the line of Jim Root Signature guitars? I have a Jazzmaster and love it. I plan to replace the pickups with a JB/Jazz set soon. I would like to buy a Strat version someday but a different color would be ideal. Thank you

To be a proper Jim Root guitar, it would need to be the colours Slipknot uses, so black, white, or red.

As for you changing the pickups, the entire reason you buy a signature guitar is to use what that artist uses, hardware, everything exactly the way the artist designed it to be. If you change anything, it is no longer HIS signature guitar anymore.

If you want to change the pickups, I suggest getting a standard model, and modify that. For example, one of my bandmates got a Blacktop Jazzmaster, and put in a JB and 59 set.

(Blacktop is this)
