Not quite content with a brand new Jaguar this week (That's a blatant lie btw, I'm extatic). I decided to buy one of the offsets Fender have out. I went for the Duo Sonic in Capri Orange with the maple fretboard.
Yes, I know a picture tells a thousand words. So, pics for both tomorrow I promise.

Played a duo sonic in a music store a few years ago , the finish and playability were amazing

Did try a jaguar out at the same time , but was really disappointed , while the finish was good , all I can say is if it left the factory like that, somebody wants sacking
The action was a good 1/4 of an inch , the bridge was all set wrong and the neck was angled too far to the low E
Attempted to play it but the high E flew right off the bridge
The store was one of the biggest in Manchester (UK) and when I asked an employee if anyone in the shop set their guitars up , he looked dumbfounded and told me they just sell the guitars

I took quite a break from "real" Fenders... I had a '78, then a '79 Anniversary that I hated. Next one was a plywood Korean Squier from the mid 90s, and finally after almost 20 years, back to an MIA American Special.
I am VERY impressed with the feel and playability of this new neck. It is to my Epiphones what my Taylor is to my other acoustics.

Do any of you guys know a good picture hosting site, other than Photobucket?

I've just started using Flickr. I can't say how good it is yet, but it's fairly popular.

I use Imgur.
I heard something a couple of weeks ago that Flickr was going through some changes and it may end up another Photobucket situation... use caution with any free or cheap site.

Thanks Rich. Photos taken, but haven't set up an account at Imgur yet.
