Does anyone know where I can buy TBX tone control Pots for my HM STRAT?
Keep in mind that the hole size for the Tone control pots is approx. .325" so a 3/8" bushing is not going to go through. This seems to be the bushing size for fender guitars.
I suspect mine was one of the ones made with Japanese parts . I think the hole size is about 8mm (approx. .32"). I have seached every where for these pots but cannot seem to fine them.

I rerun the search you made, and it really seems nobody makes the smaller (250KΩ/1meg center detent..?) pots anymore...
And that's confirmed with a pencil mark on both HM 556&551 parts lists, "NLA".
I'm guessing the originals were Alpha, but their (like CTS &Bourns) databases bring nada.

So, unless you get really lucky with ebay & such, you could consider a workaround:
Replace both/all pots with modern 3/8”/0.3750”/9.5250mm sized ones. If you're not comfortable doing the minuscule-but-necessary hole reaming & such, have a good pro do it. Fender's TBX pot is part number 0992052000 or 099-2052-000.

BTW, thanks to D.L. & Fender Consumer Relations; I asked for HM Strats parts lists & diagrams yesterday, got those in less than 24 hours. Both thumbs up.

Thanks for looking and confirming that I probably looked everyway there is. I already had bought a metric volume control replacement threw Philadelphia Luthier Tools & supplys ( strange name for selling guitar stuff). Anyway they did not have the stacked metric tone controls. So, I think your right. I will use a sharp reamer and increase the hole size to fit the 3/8 bushing and might as well buy another volume control and two tone controls so the new knobs I have to buy will all be the same. :x

I have one of these HM Strat TBX controllers, the genuine ones used in the late 80's to early 90's, did you manage to do without in the end? They were built by Alps, probably here in Milton Keynes at the time
