Hello!
I might have gone crazy, but...
Some years ago I remember sseing on Fender Japan's site Fender Mustang. I remember that it was a signature model, with some kind of weird interesting graphics, 3 pickups i think. I didn't give much attention to it then, but now I'm trying to find any info on it - nothing! I'm super into Adrian Belew now, and by looking at his highly-modified Mustang I think that it was his signature model...
Any help would be appreciated!

With Fender Japan and their Mickey/Minnie/Donald and so on specialities, anything is possible. (Now, don't get me wrong here, F-Japan makes great guitars, I'm just snickering at the occasional selection choices).
And F-Japan has made some signature-like models, which weren't officially called (artist name here) Signatures - someone called those very accurately "stealth signatures".

But this one... I'm not saying an AB Signature MIJ Mustang doesn't exist, but I've never seen (or even heard of) one.

And, the original AB Mustang(s) were/are Fender's Custom Shop guitars, and with features which IMHO are just about exclusively CS level when packed together: http://www.vintageguitar.com/2997/adrian-belew/

Fender Japan's old pages are long gone, but you could check if the http://web.archive.org/ has something archived from the 'some years ago' era. Search for fenderjapan.co.jp pages, that used to be the address.

His Mustangs were equipped with a first-generation Roland GK1 MIDI pickup, matching electronics and a Kahler tremolo, with the latter sporting a neck from a G-505 guitar synth with a black-painted headstock.
