These were one of Roger Rossmeisl's projects at Fender after he left Rickenbacker. Look at the tailpiece with its big old Fender "F"--kinda similar to Rickenbacker's big ol' "R", dontcha think?

I remember dreaming about these back in the late ;60s when Jags and Jazzmasters were sorta passé...but, as it turns out, the Jag and JM have become classics, and the Coronados are toast.

I think that blue 12er is possibly the ugliest hollowbody I've seen in awhile. Never been a fan of the "sock over a cucumber" headstock design and on this guitar it's especially hideous...

If you'd like to see some really nice pics, go to Olivia's Vintage pic archive.

Are they semi or full hollow? Very good looking guitar and yes I see the Ric influence.

Full hollowbody. The '75-'76 Starcaster was a semi-hollow.

The wood was tinted into the tree, thus giving an unpredictable result.
Wilwood II = greenish pattern

Hey good to see you here, I loved the spalted look on that one. I've got one of those NOS Wildwood bodies that was auctioned a while back. I had it set up as a bass, but having found a neck that's a really good match, I'm changing it over to a six stringer.

Now, I'm kinda wishing I didn't put the tug bar on. I'll take some new pics after I get my guitar harness wired up & installed.
