Was anyone else surprised to see this article by Mike Duffy https://www.fender.com/articles/tech-talk/jaguar-controls-past-and-present-what-you-need-to-know?tag=electric full of errors trying to explain Jag controls?

I noted the following:
The first infographic shows that the lead circuit will have an effect on which pickups are on, even if you have the rhythm circuit selected. Even though just under that picture it correctly states "when in the rhythm setting, the bridge pickup is deactivated and the lower-bout volume and tone controls go inactive."

Later while attempting to explain the lead circuit Duffy states "and the third [switch] (closest to the edge of the body) is an on/off switch for the neck/lead pickup.". There is no such thing as a neck/lead pickup.

I think these controls are so underrated, and why Fender is posting an article on their own page, with so much misinformation is beyond me.

(Rant over)

I love the love the rhythm/lead circuits on Jags and Jazzmasters!

Possibly, his reference to a "neck/lead" pickup was intended to indicate that the switch in question affects the neck pickup when the lead circuit is active.

I spotted what looks like an error to me on the diagram that shows the strangle switch. I believe the "strangle" function is active when the switch is in the "up" position. At least that's how it sounds to my ears. The diagram seems to show it the other way.
