You need to upload pics to a pic hosting website, then copy the image address (preferably ending with .jpg) and use the IMG-option here on Fender forum.
Instructions: How to post pics - Nutter's quick start guide

Don't know if I can help you with the pedal steel, though.

The early Fender pedal guitars were cable pull, and had no knees. Of course many have been modified with all sort of added levers, (even door hinges)!
In the 70's Fender contracted with Sho-Bud to build guitars with the Fender name. They had the same recessed keyhead as the earlier models, but were rod pulled changers, and had knee levers. as well as pedals. (The early models had a minimum of 4 pedals). Here is an example (my 63? 400).

Many believe its a '63 because of the short scale, roller nut, and the early chrome pedals. (Most short scale guitars have the black pedals). It's in pretty good shape, and I picked up a few more matching pedals at a good price. My machinist friend Pete was going to make me a couple more bell cranks, but he's loafing around in Heaven now.
It's tuned standard E9 without the top 2 (harmonic) strings, and can still do a decent job for country. The 10 string 'Bud is much more versatile, but the Fender has a sound of it's own! (Think Tom Brumley/Together Again!)
