"hefty fee" is a relative term. I have a 66 MM. I see them on ebay for around $400 in the shape mine is in. Non-original finish, played, etc. I wouldn't take $400 for mine. It plays way too good. Would like to see it reissued at a student price, just as the originals were. I gave $150 for mine in the mid 80's.

But it would be nice to see them new again.
