Rosewood is a very dense hard wood (why they use it for fret board material) and that knot looks tight enough that it is not going to come out. I get that it might bother you but if it were my guitar I would ignore it and press. I personally don't see this as something Fender QC missed.

Yeah I was please at how it turned out. I guess I worry about things that are insignificant but you can understand I just paid a whack of money for this guitar. I was hoping that cosmetically it would be up to my standards. I'm a player but also a collector I guess. At one point I had 15 guitars but have thinned it down to 8. But after the lemon oil treatment I'm pretty satisfied with the guitar.

Yeah, it's a guitar, dude. Not a Fabergé egg. Wood has grain and knots, that's cool.

I bet most of the iconic guitars your idols play and own have such details, but nobody pays attention to that fact.
