Not sure if this belongs here.

Having a very hard time with this system. The guitar goes out of tune with a dive. I can't fine tune "E" with the fine tuner on the D-Tuna. I tune the guitar with the D-tuna disengage (Pull out) to D and the remaining to standard. Once I get that done. I engage the D-Tuna and the "E" goes sharp and the rest go flat. I try to fine tune the with the set screw on the D-Tuna, but I back it out so it's almost removed.

The manual states that to bend the B & E strings as far as you can so the bridge doesn't lift up. I have the spring bracket adjusted to just under 1/2" from the body, but it still moves. Tried adding a 3rd spring, but that's too much resistance on the dive.

I've dealt with floating bridges before and I've never had an issue like I have had with this bridge.

Just making sure - you aren't floating the bridge on the Wolfgang, are you? The D-Tuna only works when the trem is decked; otherwise it will take the string out of tune in at least one of the two settings (if not both).

Beyond that I'm thinking back to when I had a Peavey version 15-16 years ago - I thought the D-Tuna was really designed to be in E, so you had to tune it in that setting, not the D setting. Now it was a different bridge on the Peavey's - it wasn't an OFR but it also wasn't the same bridge that they currently use. The Peavey instructions were also very specific about making sure that you put the fine tuning screws roughly in the middle of their travel and to tune it up (and really stretch out the strings) before locking down the nut so you would have maximum travel in both directions (raise/lower tuning).

Sorry, it's just been too long, and it's not quite the same bridge. Can you take it to a tech? At least post some pictures and maybe someone with more experience with these can help you out.
