Hello! I have a Cyclone, the only model by Fender with a 24-3/4 scale. Would it be possible to replace it for a Mustang 24" neck without any bridge repositioning? Thanks!

Both model look same to me, ( I did not say neck will fit ) what is a difference between a Cyclone and a Mustang guitars ?

Can you take some measurements side by side ?

Ask Fender ; http://www.fender.com/404?/necks-bodies

Besides the scale, I believe the body is slightly thicker for the Mustang. Pickguard is also different. Other than that, I believe is the same body profile.

I haven't done this myself, but my gut feeling is that the .75" difference in nominal scale would be too much for the bridge adjustment limits without moving the bridge.
But, if you have a neck you can try on the guitar, it's easy to check. With the 24" neck in place, the distance from the nut to the twelft fret should be the same as from the twelfth fret to the highE saddle in rough intonation. Plus, you need some leeway for intonating the other strings.

PS: It might help someone else in the future, if you'd post your results from the neck switch.
