I had to change my bridge plate on my vintage style hot rod Tele. When I put the bridge pup back in place, the pickup seems loose. It had rubber spring tubing underneath,(I've never seen before) & I bet this has something to do to keep the pup snug in place.Any pics, videos or tips on how to set this rubber tubing so the pickups don't get loose while adjusting bridge height? This is a brand new tele so there is no chance of the rubber being worn out.

There's no special way of fitting the tubing.
It should be self explanatory.
You can see the tubing in situ in this video.

If your pickup height is correct and the pickup rattles around you need to replace the tubing.
