Hi guys I have the amp now! the middle position on the tele sounds alright and so does the neck but the bridge is still harsh and brittle. The volume knob is also useless as it's pretty much just 100% or off. So i think maybe i should just change the bridge? Is that easy to do on a tele?

Yes, if you can solder two wires. I changed mine out in my affinity. I did have some trouble at the neck. It seems to be routed small, so I left the stock neck in after breaking the replacement. It doesn't sound too bad, like the bridge did. I just used a Standard Tele pickup. Have fun.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. And yes I've had to solder my tele before due to jack connection problems. Good to know it's easy thanks!

Your neck pickup with the metal/chrome cover will come with three wires not two. Two of the three wires go to ground. MFGs are being very picky about GROUNDING things now days. The chrome cover needs to be grounded. For the most part every metal piece on your guitar needs to be grounded.

I changed my neck pickup mounting from being mounted to the wood to being mounted on the pick guard.
It is a bit more to it than just soldering two wires. This is a good thing. It gives you different choices in setup and design. Creativity comes into the game. You can slap the pups in there cave man simple or think about it and get fancy .
