I'm aware most of these styles are discontinued but need to know what they are to buy used or buy some new old stock.

The only version that had the S-1 to split the humbucker was called the "American Telecaster HS" in the 2006 Fender Frontline - but I have also seen it referred to as the "American Telecaster SH" since for Strats Fender's naming convention is to put the bridge pickup first (so a Strat with a bridge humbucker is an "HSS"). Here is the link to the 2006 Fender Frontline on Fender's website; it is on page 65 (per the book's page numbering, but page 69 per the ISSUU numbering):

http://issuu.com/fender/docs/frontline_ ... 96/3856715

I think that the version with the S-1 starts in mid-to-late 2003, and it was discontinued at the end of 2006.

How about this one: Telecaster HH (Upgrade 2006)

The switching is:
Quote:
S-1 Switch Up:
Position 1. Bridge Pickup with Both Coils in Series
Position 2. Bridge Pickup in Parallel with Neck Pickup
Position 3. Neck Pickup with Both Coils in Series

S-1 Switch Down:
Position 1. Inside Coil of Bridge Pickup in Parallel with Special Tone Capacitor and then in Series with the Outer Coil of Bridge Pickup
Position 2. Outer Coil of Bridge Pickup in Parallel with the Outer Coil of Neck Pickup
Position 3. Inside Coil of Neck Pickup in Parallel with Special Tone Capacitor and then in Series with the Outer Coil of Neck Pickup

Or, just ask Martian...

Good catch; I thought the OP was only asking about the HS model so I didn't describe the HH model. If I'm remembering correctly it also had the same run - going from roughly mid-2003 through the end of 2006. Plus there was the maple top HH American Deluxe Tele; it ran from 2004 also to the end of 2006.

The USA Prof Std Tele HS is a "dealer exclusive" model sold apparently only in GC & Musician's Friend. Looks like it has that S1-switch you wanted - but usually Fender doesn't publish the diagrams for FSR(etc.) models.
BTW, there's also a sister model, USA Prof Std Strat HSS

The HS as a factory installation is a rare combination which doesn't seem to be on the regular menu on either Fender or Squier at the moment.

There's also the Telecaster Select HH, which splits wide range humbuckers.
So all in all, there seems to be quite a few models.

Quoting John C:
Good catch, arth1.
That's a confirmation for the RI-WRH being splittable - now someone only needs to decode the four corner leads...

Here's the service diagram: Select Telecaster® Chambered HH

And the description:
Quote:
Fender Select Telecaster HH

In addition to its other high-end features, the Fender Select Telecaster HH packs a powerful pair of Wide Range Special humbucking pickups, with an S-1 switch built into the tone knob.
Without engaging the S-1 switch, the three-way blade pickup switch delivers a straightforward dual-pickup wiring scheme, namely:
• Position one: bridge pickup only
• Position two: bridge and neck pickups in parallel
• Position three: neck pickup only

On the Fender Select Telecaster HH, the S-1 switch serves a two-position “push/push” function that produces frequency modifications for each pickup. The selection of pickups with the three-way blade switch remains the same, but engaging the S-1 switch changes the actual sound of the pickups. Specifically, it selects the inside coil of each of the humbucking pickups, with the signal routed first through a capacitor/resistor combination that narrows the frequency bandwidth, and then through the outside coil of each pickup.

The resulting tones give you a dramatically expanded tonal palette that delivers the best of two worlds, because you get a fat single-coil sound with the welcome benefit of effective hum cancellation in each of the three pickup-switch positions.
Therefore, engaging the S-1 switch on this guitar creates the following:
• Position one: bridge pickup only, single-coil tone with hum cancellation
• Position two: bridge and neck pickups in parallel, single-coil tone with hum cancellation
• Position three: neck pickup only, single-coil tone with hum cancellation
