I installed Original Vintage '52 pickups.('06 Nashville Tele) I love the neck but the bridge is very tin or nasally sounding. Kind of wrecks the combination neck and pup sound as I have a push/pull switch for that. I've played with the height and even heard there was a remote possabillity it could be wound wrong (phase issue) and rewired it with yellow to ground instead and all that did was make it buzz like crazy so the phase is right with the wire colors (black to ground). I have checked it with a meter and it is right in spec per Fender (ohm)

Any ideas ?

Thanks !

I had the same problem with a bridge pickup once. The problem ended up being with a busted coil (i don't remember what exactly, although you said you checked it wiht a meter already) but it was giving out the same thin nasally sound your talking about. Now i also know that the nasally tone is typical in some tele bridge pickups. get it to a tech?
