Rather than purchasing another guitar that has a vibrato tailpiece already installed - Strat as an example. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tailpiece that will fit the Modern Player. There are a few that I have seen that will work nicely with the standard Tele bridge PUP, but I can't find anything that will work with the twin single coil bridge PUP configuration of the Tele Modern Player. Any thoughts please?

Cheers

Seems you'd have to remove the bridge and replace it with some kind of ABR saddle then you could add your tailpiece.

I have no experience on the brand, but maybe a Stetsbar ( http://www.stetsbar.com ) T-style would fit if you'd cut the base plate shorter.

A trem install is of course doable with most tremolo types, but it ain't a cheap mod if done by a pro, and I would not recommend this as a beginner's DIY job.
Some trem types would require routing cavities (Strat, Jazzmaster, Mustang trems).
Some (Bigsby styles, & some of the previous) would need a different bridge (ABR/Tune-O-Matic, Adjusto-Matic™, Mustang, Mastery...), which might also bring the need to shim the neck considerably, since the standard bridge is lower than the "upgrade" ones.
On many of these, too, you'd have to cut the base plate to make room for the Humbucker.

But comparing labor, skill level needed, costs, etc. vs the end result to be expected...
Might I suggest considering a Squier Vintage Modified Cabronita with Bigsby, modded with a DiMarzio Tone Zone® in the bridge position..?

Hey brother! If you are serious about having a top notch tremolo. Check out this site. https://super-vee.com/ and check you tube and you will see the tele in action! Forget crap like the heavy and mostly useless Bigsby. You want the real thing that stays in tune.
