Mick Jagger readies a "'52 Tele" with open "G" tuning, strung with 5 strings, and an unidentified 6 saddle bridge with 5 saddles, with only 5 tuners on the head stock, for the North American Zip Code Tour which kicks off in San Diego on May 25, 2015.

Wrap it up! I'll take it! Think I'd have to put the 6th string back on though.

I'd take that one too, but "Micawber" is actually the Telecaster that you and I really want.
Pictured below is "Micawber" in action last night, May 20, 2015, at a Zip Code Tour warm-up show at The Fonda Theatre in Las Angeles.
"Micawber" is one of the most valuable Telecasters in the world along with Bruce Springsteen's original Telecaster.

Eric Clapton gave "Micawber," a '53 blond, black guard, ash Telecaster, named after a Charles Dickens character, to Keith Richards on his 27th birthday in 1970.
This was prior to the Stones leaving England due to high taxes and taking up residence at Keith Richard's house, Villa Nellcôte, in southern France, where the Stones recorded Exile On Main Street in 1972.
Originally, "Micawber" had a single-coil neck pickup.
"Micawber" was stolen in France, but Keith got it back.
At the start of the ’72 tour, the single-coil neck pickup was still in place, but soon after, Keith replaced it with a Gibson PAF humbucker.

The bridge is made of brass and it’s always strung in open "G" tuning with 5 strings and 5 bridge saddles, with the low "E" saddle missing.
The bridge pickup is reported to be a pickup from a Fender lap steel, which is pretty much the same as an early Broadcaster of Telecaster bridge pickup.
"Micawber" is missing the black dot above the 17th fret where Keith often strums.

Keith keeps the pickup selector in the bridge position while playing live.
This means that either he either doesn’t use the Gibson PAF neck pickup at all, or more likely, that the switch is rewired so that the both pickups are ON in the bridge position.

The May 20, 2015, show at The Fonda Theatre, before approximately 1,200 people, featured songs from the album "Stickey Fingers" within the following set list, which was by all accounts, an unbelievable show and performance:

Start Me Up
When the Whip Comes Down
All Down the Line
Sway
Dead Flowers
Wild Horses
Sister Morphine
You've Got to Move
B*tch
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
I Got the Blues
Moonlight Mile
Brown Sugar

Encore
Rock Me Baby - (BB King tribute)
Jumpin Jack Flash
Can't Turn You Loose

Also missing the pole for the low E in the bridge pickup or just blacked out?

When I picked up my custom Tele the builder's partner mentioned something about a conversation they had about a custom 5 string he made for Keith a long time ago. I know Keith has a few custom Teles that were made with just 5 strings along with all the ones that started out with 6.

I noticed the blacked out or missing low "E" pickup pole in the bridge pickup.
I don't know what to make of it and I did not find anything on line about it.
I therefore, did not comment on it.
But it certain looks like it has been modified....:?: :?: :?:

However, a close look at The Fonda Theatre show picture, seems to imply that a pickup with the low "E" pole is now in place, as is the top bridge pickup adjustment mounting screw.

Not to mention its player! With all the cigarettes, booze and drugs over the years, its surprising he's still with us. Keep on trucking Keith.

What's more astonishing is the picture of Jagger at the beginning of this thread. I mean, the rest of Mick looks 72, but his hair is 50 years younger!

Actually, Jagger's body looks and moves like a 35 year old, and his voice and aerobic stamina is just amazing.
I saw the Stones three times on this tour, including the last US show on this tour in Buffalo on July 11, which was just an awesome Stones performance, certainly the best show I have seen on the last two U.S. tours.
Here is a picture of Mick from the Buffalo show on July 11.

Here's a picture of the "Kings of Rock 'N Roll" at The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on May 20.
Keith has been playing great!!

The "Glimmer Twins" in Minneapolis on June 4, with "Micawber".
