I really like this combo. Couldn't be happier . Am I doing something wrong because for blues and rock it sounds real good to me. :)

Man... what a question !!

While I play my any one of my 3 Telecasters through either a Blackface Deluxe ('67), a Blackface Vibro Champ ('65), a SF Princeton Reverb ('72) or a Peavey Delta Blues 115.

Telecasters are just as rockin' as Stratocasters, Les Pauls, SGs and Melody Makers !

And I would expect it to be so with the Blues Junior as well.

Unless of course you don't consider Syd Barrett, Jeff Beck, Roy Buchanan, Mike Campbell, Albert Collins, David Gilmour, Jonny Greenwood, George Harrison, Steve Howe, Albert Lee, Alex Lifeson, Muddy Waters, Mike Oldfield, Jimmy Page , Rick Parfitt, Keith Richards, Robbie Robertson, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Strummer, Andy Summers, Pete Townshend, Clarence White (and too many more to mention) as Blues/Rock players. Each of these artists has either toured, recorded or both with a Telecaster.

It truly is the Swiss Army Knife of guitars !! :D :D

cheers!

Being a new guitar player, I am just blown away by the tones that I can get with the combination of these two. I have my Strat too and really like it but I have found that my Thinline just smokes my Strat when it comes to sweet sounds. I hope that make sense.

As for small practice amps, I highly recommend the LT Lunchbox Amp.
I own a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue, which I think is a great amp for the money.
When I bought the ZT Lunchbox Amp, I A/B tested it at music store volume levels with a Blues Deluxe Reissue, with controls set to where I play it, and I could barely tell the difference between the two amps.
This small solid-state amp has the warm sound of a tube amp and a presence control that acts like a reverb control adding additional depth of sound.
This little amp also takes pedals very well.
If amplified through a PA system, this little amp could play with the big boys, it's that good.

I don’t like Blues Juniors, and it doesn’t matter if it has been modified. I use Marshall, or I won’t play…

I primarily play slide on my Blacktop series Telecaster through a Blues Junior. I also own an American Special Stratocaster for blues/rock.

I have different settings on my Blues Junior for both the Tele and the Strat (in combination with specific effects pedals.)

And I keep track of all the settings in a moleskin notebook hehehe

I'm a member of this group! Got an original green board BJ, and a tweed shell w/speaker. The music store had sold the chases out of it, so I got it at a reduced price.

And, I just bought an Am Dlx Tele!

I have an early 90's Blues deluxe. It's great for home. My gig rig is an Orange Rockerverb 50 with a 2 x 12 cab. But I play the blues deluxe at home every day. Love it!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

For every small coffee house venue I play, I rock the Blues JR. Great amp! Mine is heavily modified, but its not needed.. because the stock version has it's own very very cool vibe!

do it up!

I play my Fender Telecaster through a Fender Blues Junior III and a Fender '65 RI Deluxe Reverb in "true stereo". The sound is fantastic. Sort of a vintage/modern thing.
