What's up everyone glad to be have a Fender Telecaster serial # cn315636 vintage white. I have had this guitar since 1999 and believe it to be 93/94 and would like to know around about value. I need to have fretted and has small chip at plug in, other then that it is near mint. Thx

It's worth what someone will pay you for it.

Expect somewhere in the $550-$700 range, not likely any more.

cheers!

The CN prefix means it's made in Korea. And although that doesn't necessarily mean anything on how the instrument plays and sounds, MIK's usually sell for about half the price of a similar model MIA's.

I'd guess $200 to $400, depending on which part of the world you live in.

The MIK Fenders typically sell for significantly less than their MIA, MIJ, or MIM counterparts. I often see these on my local C/L going for (sometimes well) under $200. There is not really a "vintage" market for Made in Korea Fenders, so date of manufacture isn't really an issue.
If your guitar truly needs to be completely re-fretted, you are looking at a cost of $200-$400, probably a great deal more than what it is worth on the market. If you've found that you're serious about playing, and feel that your skills have improved, it may be time to consider an upgrade to a higher quality instrument.
That being said, if you truly have bonded with this instrument, and feel like it's a real keeper, you have a few other less expensive options to a full re-fret: find a competent luthier and look into the possibility of a fret dressing or crowning solving the issue. Likewise, you could purchase a replacement neck from another MIK Tele that is being parted out if one is available somewhere either from a dealer or on-line-these should be fairly cheap. I don't know if aftermarket manufacturers like Warmoth, AllParts, Mighty Mite, etc., make replacement necks for Korean Fenders, but you can check. Finally, it may be cheaper to just purchase another MIK Tele from C/L, Reverb, or Ebay, and just switch out necks. HTH.

You can find great hardly used MIMs for around $300.

A Korean model that has had multiple owners, needs refretting and has visible damage? Far less. I'd value it as "spare parts". It may be worth a lot more as a keeper - possibly changing the neck instead of refretting it, unless particularly attached to the neck feel.
