Hi, I am about to buy my second guitar and I had just decided on a tele. I was just going to go to the store and pick one up but i found one online and really liked the color. I just wanted to know if anyone could verify this dealer and tell me if this is a real fender tele. This is the guitar here: http://www.austinbazaar.com/fender-fsr- ... 86582.html

Austin Bazaar is a good outfit, small, service-oriented. They are an authorized Fender Dealer.

The Telecaster is genuine. It is an FSR (Factory Special Run). From time-to-time, Fender will slightly modify an existing model (usually a non-standard color) produce a limited run of them (unspecified) and label them FSRs.

In this case, it is a standard MIM Telecaster w/ a Tangerine Poly finish.

In most cases, an FSR won't become more valuable than it's standard counterpart, but it may sell a little faster, especially if it's color becomes popular again.

Good Luck !

cheers!
