You're giving so little information on the guitar that all estimates would be just guesses - and not even educated ones.

First of all, that's not a Thinline.

They were known as '90s Telecaster Custom.

This might help a little, but sorry for the quality of the pic. which I found on another site. I remember these for sale, and they were not particularly expensive guitars when new. As to the value now, I really don't know.

OK, nice catch.
I'll start by guessing 600$, + 20%

If I've understood correctly, this kind of guitars were sorta CS-Japan (made by "Custom Edition Team").
Probably retail price was under 500$ in the nineties.
Oh, that pic tells the original price in Japan, 70.000 yen - in 1994(1995?). I've no idea how it correlates to currency rates today.

1995 ; 70,000 yen = $582
2014 ; $915

Not IMO

This is not because not many guitars where built , value is high.
Where is the demand ?

I could be wrong I'm not a expert

You didn't believe my estimate?

Just google with the model number. On ebay, asking price 729$ remained unsold. Another sold for 529€ (~600$)... And there are more if you want to dig.

If you get 700 bucks, consider it a good deal. If you want the 2K, prepare to wait a decade or two.

The model number is on the pic Butterscotch posted.

The model plus the MOP are rare, yes - but not worth an extra 1300$-1400$.

But: don't get sore on us, we're just providing the info. The second hand market is what it is...

I don't believe that it is "private" although there may be a setting somewhere that I don't know about. If there is, then I would welcome the info.

In the meantime, I have to trust that people don't put up other pictures from my library...
I would like the photo of my patio taken down, if you can. Thank you.
