I just put together a nice Tele with various parts. I see a slight bend down the middle of the neck, one of the first Tele Bullet necks made in Japan. There's only access to the truss rod on the headstock---there's no screw or anything on the heel.
No USA socket will fit the Japanese nut up above. What do I do---buy a Japanese socket set, find some extra-long needle-nose pliers, or am I just wasting my time trying to do a minor adjustment? Thanks in advance.

Japan made Bullet style truss rod nut need a metric allen wrench ,

Use good quality one , no pliers . You'll ruin the truss rod nut .

Can you post picture ?

Do you mean Bullet guitar or Bullet type truss rod nut ?

+1, to ST52; this ain't an easy answer without more info.

It's either a 4mm, 4,5 mm or a 5 mm metric, or a 3/16" imperial hexagon (allen) wrench; depending if it's a Squier or a Fender Bullet neck, and when it was made...
The adjuster nut sits quite deep in the large opening in the headstock.

One possible fix (use at your own risk, don't blame me if you round the trussrod nut) is to try using T20/25/27/30 Torx heads; they are tapered so you may get the job done, or at least get a size for the proper hex key.
