Hey everyone! I picked up this beautiful piece of art from Eddie Stone of the southern rock band Doc Holliday back in the early 00s. He gave me a ton of info on the guitar when I bought it, but I've decided to start trying to document everything about this baby, and I can't remember everything he said. Any info you guys may have that would be pertinent to this Tele would be greatly appreciated. From what he told me, this was a mid 80s (during the production stop) MIJ. I do know that the bridge, p/ups, and pots have all been upgraded. Under the neck, I've found TLC-62B, which I understand is the model designation for these 62 RIs. Then I see simply "N" (which I was lead to believe this was early 90s, the neck at least) and the single penciled in number "6". It is very possible that he told me the neck had been replaced, along with the other upgrades- but that could also just be remembering inaccurately. I'm guessing there may be a serial under the bridge, but i haven't had the time to get under there yet. I'm looking for any and all info I can find on this gem. I'll link the photo slideshow below, and anything you guys can give me would awesome.

OK, I'll start:
I believe the bridge has been upgraded - the MIJ TL-62B is still made today with the vintage style three saddle bridge. So a serial under the bridge may not be there - but yours would not be the only MIJ-Tele without one. (Possibly the serial# was in the neck plate, but someone 'upgraded' it, too.)

Your neck markings: TLC-62B = TL for Tele, C for Custom (those bindings), 62 for reissue model year, B = I don't know, maybe just model series.

Can you make what it says in the neck pocket, and maybe get a few more pics - the whole guitar&neck front&back, plus close-ups of headstock and tuners, neck end (the truss rod adjustment), wiring (pup bottoms, pots especially) etc. (Partly because they'd help recognizing, partly because the forum loves pics. )
