Just a thought. Today I was looking at my various Telecasters and realized that they have so many configurations as far as types of pickups, ability to hold 1-2-3 of them , sold body/semi hollow, tremolo's, bridge types, and necks. For such an old, simple guitar, nothing since has really done it better at being able to cover all bases. It truly is THE electric guitar. Not to say there are countless other beautiful guitars, but hats off to the Telecaster.

Telecasters are great guitars and some great players have used them:

It a Fender Custom Telecaster HH w/ EMGs (81/85).

It has a Mahogany Body (w/ Belly Cut, bound, carved Maple Top), Mahogany Set Neck, Rosewood 15¾" Fretboard.

Personally, I love it. The build quality is great. The Humbuckers have a great tonal range, and they're quiet, esp. w/ my vintage tube amps. IMO, it's a lot of guitar for the $$

cheers!
