I have 2 tele's.
One is a 52 RI I bought in 1983 and the other is a 62 RI (MIJ) I bought in 1985. I bought the 62 cause I wanted some cheap at the time to play in bars and clubs with. These are the only 2 teles I have ever owned.

The 62 RI turned out to be my grab and go electric for the next 30 years,

Would that be a Blues Jr Tweed in the back? Just want to know how it sounds with your many nice Tele's?

Here is my new used 2010 American. std. Just starting to get to know it and I'm liking it a lot.
All I had to do was lower the action a wee bit and raise the pick ups.
All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It's been a little while since I put a pic up, so here's another one of mine. This is a 2010 CS Broadcaster.

Well, some purists among you may scoff, but I think it's a pretty thing. 2015 Limited Edition American Standard Double Cut.

Thank's for asking , the blues junior is a perfect companion to a telecaster.

This is my 2009 American Vintage '52 Telecaster.
I think that it has pretty nice ash grain markings on its 2 piece ash body.
I've looked at a lot of these type of Teles, and similar Custom Shop Teles for comparison.

Image
But it doesn't even compare to the unbelievable ash grain markings on this Telecaster owned by Rock 'n Roll King, Mick Jagger, which is probably the most beautiful traditional style Telecaster that Fender has ever made.
Mick has had this Telecaster at least since the 40 Licks tour and generally uses this guitar, tuned in open G, only on one song in every show.
I've been looking for a good picture of this guitar for a long time.
Often times, the grain in the guitar body does not show up in pictures.

I love the AVRI series and I have several 52's. But I just got this 58 Pure Vintage by Fedex on Friday. This sucker really sings. It's a scratch and dent, was pretty clean but has a broken selector switch. I did get it to work but ordered a new switch from GC. The action took some tweaking but is now in great shape, low with no buzzing.
