I was looking around the Fender Custom Shop site, and when I went under the retired models section ( http://www.fender.com/custom-shop/retired-models/ )

This is where I saw probably the most gorgeous Telecaster I've ever seen. Its the one on the banner of the site where the page is titled "Retired Models." I looks to have a bigsby bridge, gold hardware and a white-glossy body.

Any info on it? Its gorgeous.

You can have the Custom Shop create anything you want. That is clearly what happened there. I won't go out on a limb and say I know every team-built C/S guitar model ever made but I'm pretty sure if there was one like that I would have heard about it. That's very likely a master-built one-off.

I've actually found the model.

It's a Gretsch and Fender telecaster hybrid

I was just looking around to see if I could find the name and maybe another picture of it. You may find it somewhere, but I don't have a link myself. Its for sure a custom shop, but I don't know where you might find one. Sorry! I would love to find one somewhere for sale, that would be amazing

This model is better known as TeleGretscher, one of Paul Waller's masterpieces. It came in a variety of finishes.

Paul did black and white variations of the TeleGretscher fashioned after the Black and White Falcons/Penguins; often dumbed as Black & White Chicken. He's also chiefly responsible for Bono's personal stage guitars.

Chromeface is correct, Paul Waller is the Masterbuilder. Here's Paul going over the guitar he calls "The White Chicken!"

You have great taste as the guitar is smoking! The only change I would make for myself personally would be no Bigsby.

Fender Japan do a similar guitar to that:

http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/tn72g-ftmh.html

the white is WHITE on that MIJ one. Don't know how well that marries with the gold.

Production of this guitar shifted to Mexico in 2011.

Fidelitron humbuckers replaced the original Filtertrons. Discontinued in 2012.

This model was also available in Black.
