I'm assuming the blond tele? All I can see is it's a USA model but you really should email Paul Levesque <plevesque@fender.com> with the serial number and he'll get back to you in a day or so with the specs for that model Tele. Real helpful guy. . .

The pictures are rather small so I was unable to zoom. In the picture of it in the case, it appears to have a switch between the knobs. that along with the style case it's in leads me to believe that it's a 1998 American telecaster deluxe with a newer (2008) American standard neck on it.

If that's what it is, there should be additional clues to that effect...
The body would have a front edge binding, and the back would have the belly cut.

mr Paul Levesque was a great help thanks jpmist for the hookup. it seems to be a 2008 american standard with a few up grades. locking tuners, noiseless pickups plus an extra center pup. no belly cut or binding RRR . i'm very happy with it's sound and looks and it plays like a tele should......... great.

thanks again for the help and sorry for the small / bad pics

OK, so now you have the specs for the guitar with that serial number, how about posting some decently sized pictures so we can see if the guitar matches the specification?

It's not unknown for serial numbers to be copied ..... 8)
