I cant find a picture of what the AVRI 69 Thinline looks like and how the body is put together, anyone know what the body looks like? is there a top that goes over the chambers?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Um, no, BMW-KTM. That's not even close to an AVRI '69 Thinline. And doesn't show the insides either.

Here's an X-ray of a '69 Thinline:

Fender has been known to do things like changing the numbers of chambers and how they're connected in the middle of production runs, so take it with a grain of salt. My '72 RI has much smaller chambers than the original.

I was simply responding to the question of whether or not there is a top that goes over the chambers. That pic seems to show quite clearly a separate top piece.

The original Thinline was routed from the rear.

The AVRI followed the same method
