Put it this way, who would fake a Squier? There's no money in it, compared to faking a Fender.

Sadly, there are regions where a mere 20ish bucks is enough reason to fake.

But Squiers are manufactured in China, and there are examples of California series electric guitars in the net. They are cheap, so don't expect a Modern Player series quality.
CXS prefix should mean domestic (China) and made by AXL according to that sticker.

The color combination is nice, but details (like that truss rod hole) don't IMHO look very pretty.

Decent beginner guitars, IMO.

Pros:
- Comfortable neck
- Great sounding pickups
- Good overall fit and finish

Cons:
- Terrible tuners

For the price, you can still tweak these into fine sounding and playing instruments all for under $300 combined.

A review here: thestar_N. RAMA LOHAN

The price announced on the page would put this between Bullet and Affinity series.
