Hey guys! Me again. I want to know, in your opinion, which Tele would be best for playing Alternative Rock?

I would have to say whichever one you find that has the tone/feel you are looking for.
Go out and try some.

Check out the Baja Tele. S1 series/parallel switching as well as all the traditional Tele tones.
Try one through your amp, though, before you shunt the bucks over the counter; the effect of the S1 switching is different through different amps, more so than one gets with the regular Tele switching.
Mine is great through a Hot Rod DLX, not so effective through a '94 Twin.

i would have to say the 52 vintage reissue.
it has a great thick sound for alternative style rock and has a great classic rock feel... great neck and strings.

a must buy.

I don't know if it's the best guitar ever but it kicks $@! for all things rock! I was going to suggest this as well before I saw it. I have the Squier model and it is fantastic!
