Greetings all. I am new to posting, last visit was almost two years ago. That is about the time I started playing the guitar. I picked up a Telecaster and haven't stopped yet. It's great.
My question is, I am going to replace the neck on a MIM standard. I have been looking at different sites. BGP seems to have what I am looking for: soft V - maple at a fair price. Could any one give me feedback on the BGP necks. I have read all about the company, there are few review I have found about their necks. Second question: I know it might be preference, however, for the nut bottom on a neck, is there a difference going with a flat bottom or curved bottom nut. I understand the curved bottom matches the radios of the fretboard. Thanks for your time! Larry

I have no experience with that brand neck but looked into the website. For the price you might want to look into mighty mite which cost less, or a Warmoth vintage modern neck (which will also cost less if you spray on the finish yourself) where at least these are reputable brands, licensed by Fender, and maintain the proper headstock shape.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll checkout the both companies you mentioned.
Have a great day.

Looks like they do a lot of hand work.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Thanks for the video. I ordered a neck from them a few days ago. The options and price are reasonable. I am lefty - I 'll post after I receive the neck.
