I have an American Telecaster with a serial number of 10032714. I can not find any info on this guitar. Have no idea when it was made. I believe it's recent (last couple of years). I bought it from someone who got endorsed by Fender. Can anyone tell me anything about this guitar or where I might be able to find info?

Number looks like a 2010 guitar to me.

Pictured are the easiest way for forum users to id a guitar, or you can send the serial number to fender.

What is the letter before digits ? US ?

Look this page , right side up ; SUPPORT , dating stringed instrument , you'll read ;

SERIAL NUMBERS PRODUCTION DATES
“10” prefix followed by a space and seven digits (late 2009 through March 2010)
US10 + 6 digits (beginning in about March 2010)

I think was hasn't been answered yet is what model Tele it could be. Those "10xxxxxx" serial numbers were used on:

1. American Standards
2. American Deluxes
3. American Specials
4. Highway 1s
5. Some USA-built Artist Series (but in the Tele world that would only be the James Burton)

This is why we need photos to see which model. I think that the OP could figure out if it was a James Burton from the way they look (plus I'm not sure that Fender ever used the "10xxxxxx" serial numbers on the Burtons; they don't make many of them in any given year; the 2010 batches might have been done before or after the "10xxxxxx" numbers were used).
