Thanks Lightnin MN, yep, no noise at all, a lot of tedious work but it paid off.
jmattis, The capo I have isn't adjustable and I don't have much experience with them, so I didn't know that such a thing existed, I've seen them that had more gismo's than mine but I just didn't pay much attention, so thanks very much for that. I've already been looking for one, but the one I had decided on is out of stock, you got any recommendations?

I've had a chance to play it some and now I know the meaning of "butter", man, this thing really feels great! This one is MIM and it's not the "real deal" and so I can only dream for now about what the "real deal" would be like. I've been reading the thread about the difference between MIM and MIA and there's a vast difference. I can't imagine what one of the MIA's is like, but I'm gonna keep my eye out and if I can get a "good deal on the real deal" I'm gonna jump on it!!

Here's a pic of the stuff I have, I record our sessions (I'm the Bass player) with a small cheap digital recorder (Radio Shack $49) it has amazing quality, it has a USB so I can burn a CD, then play it back through my Tascam Guitar Trainer, I can vary the speed, loop the lead parts, etc... I connect it to the Aux on my amp so what I'm hearing from the guitar is the amp and not the trainer (it has presets too). Plus I can record stuff off youtube or play regular CD's and do the same thing, plus change the key if I want or slow the speed to learn the hard ones (I play by ear), it's a great training tool. The headphones are handy, keeps the peace around here!

Seems you got the Fender fever...

But actually, you just upgraded your MIM to a level many MIA Teles never reach (and I've seen a lot of badly set up ones...)

So again as an advice: for the time being, enjoy the Tele and play. LOUD.
