Hi there, I saw a demo on Youtube featuring the Telecaster American Special with the "new 2013" finish in Butterscotch Blonde. Try as I might but I can't find this beauty anywhere....
Any info is much appreciated.

All Fender products are good but it is a matter of taste and experience . Nobody can't tell you you'll be happy with it or you won't . A test is a must .

American Special are not top of the line but are not cheap guitar.

Yes, Musician Friend does sell guitars. They carry the American Special but I didn't find one in butterscotch.

There's no American Special in Butterscotch.

Fender did an FSR HWY1 Butterscotch Telecaster in 2009; only 150 pieces were made so far.
Discontinued.

That's not BSB it's vintage blonde, more of a yellow color.

Hey thanks for your help...I really appreciate it! I guess that dude demonstrating that Tele made a mistake...It's a nice guitar though....I like the Texas specials and the nut width (43mm) . Guess I'll go for the vintage blonde then.
Cheers!
