I have had my Cab for arround 10 months now and getting on well with it,
Here goes, I would like to try and get a surf sound out of it if possible . At the moment I am using a Peavey Blazer 158 practice amp with it, Can I change the settings arround on this also to get the required sound I am looking for ?
Hopefully look forward to some positive info.
Thank You all for looking after a relative beginner.

Can I assume your Cabronita is one of those that came with a Bigsby tremolo tailpiece?

Pretty sure you need tremolo to play Surf style. My understanding was those guys all played Strats (dick dale, beach boys etc).

If you've got a hard-tail Tele, that's your problem right there. :D

I agree with Ken, but you can add some reverb and
vibrato, tweek the EQ and get close enough.
