Well I was looking for an excuse to post my 88 MIJ 62 RI ... quite a few upgrades to this one but it's just about the most beautiful Tele I've ever seen. Sorry for the crappy phone pic!

Well if we are going to post photos of 62 Reissue Tele Customs...

This is the one I let get away...if another one pops up I will be grabbing it, they are great guitars.

I too, owned a '62 Telecustom. What great guitars. And, yes, I too, sold mine (but it was for a Strat Plus) :)

They look, sound and play wonderfully. Being an Andy Summers fan, the moment I saw one I skooped it up.

I hinally broak down and made my own Andy Summers Tele. I'm considering changing out the maple neck for rosewood fret board. You can see a photo of my Tele in my profile photo.

Don't do it Paris, I really like the look of that maple fretboard on that guitar! ...of course it is your guitar.

I just love those sunburst teles with binding. They look sharp.

Sharp is the right word. The binding is really squared off and it wears grooves in my right forearm after a short time playing.

But hey, no pain no gain, the sound and feel of that guitar is just incredible. I might get it refretted with medium jumbo fretwire though, the skinny frets aren't exactly to my tastes now. Other than that it's tip top.
