So I have a Fender Telecaster. LOVE IT. But I am a tinkerer of things and I got bored.. very bored.

So I bought a Dimarzio pickup and put it in the neck. What I wanted to do was wire my guitar for the following...

p1-Bridge p2-neck single coil p3-neck normal humbucker. Essentially, instead of the middle position be both bridge and neck, i want the middle to be the neck pickup single coiled out.

Problem is pickup switches confuse the snot out of me. I can wire the bridge and the neck just fine, but I can't figure out how to get the middle position to just do the dimarzio single coiled.

I have the wires for the p/up isolated just fine. Right now, the neck and the bridge work fine by themselves.

Anyone able to advise me on that?

Nevermind.....

I was looking at how it was wired originally, and making it way to complicated in my head.

I unwired the entire thing and figured it out once I calmed myself down!

But thanks for anyone who read it.
