Any suggestions on good humbucker (neck) and tele bridge combinations. Leaning towards a TV Jones Powertron (their take on a 50s Gibson Humbucker but twangier), but not sure on the bridge position.

IMHO, that's a hot choice for a Tele - maybe too hot...
Remember also that the pots & caps have to handle both pickups, so possibly/probably you need to ponder the whole combination for a while.

Otherwise, the net is full of different answers for your question - tdpri.com, thegearpage.net just for example. Not to mention different pickup manufacturers.

The Powertron I have measures 4.6K, a bit less than the advertised 5K, and yes I have been thinking about what pot values to use, I have read that the DiMarzio Area T is a good bridge that takes either 250 or 500 pots well, but never used DiMarzio pickups before, all thoughts are appreciated.

If you wanna have traditional single-coil neck pickup tones, pick a humbucker having a 4-conductor cable and drop a super 5-way switch to cut the front coil from the humbucking neck pickup.
